Catena Technology Limited is an engineering company in Lusaka. We build and operate Unityzm, the platform that lets a business take mobile-money and bank payments, send receipts and tickets, and keep records that stand up when someone checks them.

Payments and settlement

Mobile-money and bank-transfer checkout that matches each payment to the order it pays for, so nobody reconciles a statement by hand. Proof of payment, refunds and a clear audit trail are part of it.

A shop, a ticketed event or a product catalogue with quotes, on your own web address. We host it, keep it running and handle the payments behind it. You manage orders from one admin screen.

Assistants that prepare replies, quotations and reports for your team to check. We build them so that nothing involving money or a promise to a customer goes out until a person approves it, and every call is costed.

Being built

Digital signatures and trust

Checking certificates, signatures and time-stamps issued under Zambia's National PKI, so a signed document can be verified years later. We are preparing our registration with ZICTA. Until it is granted, we do not offer signing or certification services.

Catena is the company. Unityzm is what we make.

Most software reaching Zambian businesses is adapted from somewhere else. Unityzm starts from the rails used here: mobile money, local bank transfers, ZRA Smart Invoice, and the rules that PACRA, ZRA, the Bank of Zambia and the Data Protection Commission actually apply.

It is organised into editions, so a business only switches on what it uses.
